Neo-Prussian Jäger

The LMG gunner from the Stabsunteroffizier's 1st Gruppe opened up on the Rebel in the most left window. After some shots left the barrel, the LMG remained silent. Checking the ammo box the Gefreite realised that he forgot to refill the ammo box after the last shooting session...

But the few shots fired caused the ill-disciplined rebel to duck behind the window sill.

The Stabsunteroffizier and the Sprengmeister ran across the street, nestling their backs against the wall of the hotel.

The 2nd Gruppe led by a Hauptgefreiten ran accross the street as well, moving in line towards the entrance to the yard.

The 3rd Gruppe, consisting of the tripod mounted machine gun, its gunner and loader, trained their weapon on the light machine gun gunner opposite them in the window, scoring a clear kill.

Bavarian Rebells

Not having noticed the ammo shortage of the Kaisers Truppen, the rebel leader and the LMG gunner deployed on the front side of the hotel moved away from the windows not to get targeted next. They took up positions behind the bar, facing the main entrance.

One of the rebels from the left side moved to the back side to take up the position of the shot down LMG gunner there. The 3rd Gruppe noticed him and opened fire, but missed him, the return fire bounced of harmlessly of the weapons shield. Nevertheless the gunner and loader ducked deeper behind it.

Rebels from the right side of the bar room moved down into the basement.

The LMG gunner of the 1st Gruppe laid down his dry gun, drawed his pistol and moved up to his Stabsunteroffizier. All three of the 1st Gruppe positioned around the door.

The 2nd Gruppe moved towards the edge of the entrance to the yard.

The 3rd Gruppe fired at the rebels peeking out of the windows, they missed but one of the rebels loosed his nerves and ran away, deciding it is not a good idea after all to fight well trained Jägers.

The rebels moved to windows outside the firing arc of the 3rd Gruppe, fearing their firepower.

The rebels did nothing more than some small repositioning, nervously awaiting the assault of the Jäger.

The Stabsunteroffizier tried to break open the door, but failed to do so.

The 2nd Gruppe entered the yard after the 3rd Gruppe gave them the sign that they did not see any of the rebels.

The Hauptgefreite moved first, seeing a rebel aiming om him he quickly moved behind a crate. The rebel missed him, but the shot was just too close for comfort, and the Hauptgefreite ran away in terror.

The Gefreite and the Obergefreite entering behind him were taken under fire immedeately, forcing them to duck down behind the yard wall.

The second Gefreite of the Gruppe got hit real bad und hunkered down with his two Kameraden behind the wall, tending to his bad wound.

The rebels were still very passive. The only action they did was to shoot at the Hauptgefreite who was running away, they inflicted another scratch on him.

The Stabsunteroffizier, having failed to open the door in stealth, quickly changed some of his shotgun rounds to door breaching rounds and shot the door open.

The 2nd Gruppe , now under the command of the Obergefreite, compared what they saw concerning enemy positions durig their first attempt to storm the yard, and comes up with a plan for their next attempt.

The 3rd group blasted away at the door with the machine gun until it went to pieces.

In the main bar room the tension built up, more repositioning took place.

Two of the rebels in the cellar did not want to wait anymore and moved out into the yard, eager to engage the attackers.

The Stabsunteroffizier and the Sprengmeister together storm through the main entrance. As soon as they enter they are senn by the rebel leader, the rebel machine gunner and another rebel who took up a position on the right stairs. The following first sight checks by the three were only passed with one die, in the following roll of the rebel on the stair shot first, then the attackers, then the last remaining defenders.

The rebel on the stairs shot, missed, the return fire resulted in a scratch from the Stabsunteroffiziers shotgun and a bad wound from the Sprengmeisters submachine gun. The rebel topelled down the stair, lying dead at its feet.

Next, the Sprengmeister threw a grenade behind the bar, at the position of the LMG gunner. The explosions engulfed the machine gunner, the rebel leader and the rebel facing the other door. The machine gunner and the other rebel both ducked down, the rebel leader tried to fire back but the Jäger Stabsunteroffizier was faster, hitting him with a shotgun blast in the chest causing a bad wound and the rebel leader ducked down as well.

The 2nd Gruppe readied themselves and stormed the yard a second time, determined to take it this time.

The Obergefreite, leading the assault, exchanged fire with the two rebels in the yard and one in a window but the crossfire caused him to duck back.

The first Gefreite as well exchanged fire with three enemies, but he managed to inflict a scratch one of the rebels in the windows, a runaway at the second rebel in the widnows, and a scratch on one of the rebels in the yard, which resulted in that rebel dropping behind a crate.

The second Gefreite caused a bad wound on the last rebel on that side peeking out of the windows, the same that received a scratch from his partner, killing him. Being a crack shot he caused a second bad wound, this time on the second guy in the yard.

The Stabsunteroffizier and the Sprengmeister moved further upwards looking over the wall to their right and left. The Stabsunteroffizier squeezed a shot off before the rebel in his field of fire was able to shoot, causing a runaway on him.

The two rebels on the other side were too surprised whe the Sprengmeister appeard and did not try to stop him throwing a second grenade behind the bar, to kill the fourth man still standing visibly there. He again lobbed the grenade in the right angle to land where he wanted it to, and the explosion caused s scratch on both him the already wounded rebel elader, both ducked down.

The 2nd Gruppe moved further into the yard, one took up position beside the door, the other behind some cover.

Two of the rebels which ran away moved up into the first floor to hide there, the machinde gunner dropped trhough the trap door into the basement.

One of the rebels o the right side moved some steps on the stair to get a celar shot at the 1st Gruppe but his marksmanship not being good enough he missed. The Sprengmeister quickly returned fire forcing the rebel to move up some stairs into the first floor, ducking down there.

The second rebel on the right side of the building used this shoot out to move up to the 1st Gruppe, standind directly above them and blazing away. He shot the Sprengmeister directly into the head, killing hin immeadiately. The Stabsunteroffizier received a bad wound, and dived back through the door, ducking down beside it.

Another rebel moved down into the basement.

The rebel wich was forced to duck down behind a crate took heart and popped up but the quicly fired burst of the Gefreite discouraged him and he drops back down.

The four rebels left in the bar room all take up positions behind the bar again, training their weapons on the two entrances.

All hold their positions, regaining strength. Only the Obergreite and the Gefreite in the yard cautiosly move towrads the door leadin to the basement.

The rebel ducking down in the first floor moved back down again, joining his fellows behind the bar.

The Gefreite and the Obergefreite moved around the crate the rebel is hiding behind in a pincer movement. The rebel managed to inflict a scratch in the Gefreite but the Obergefreite killed him with a burst in the back.

The 3rd Gruppe, not having seen any enemy from their position for quite some time, dismantle the tripod mounted machine gun and prepare to move toward the hotel as well.

The Obergefreite entered the basement. The resulting first sight check of the waiting rebel resulted in in the Obergefreiten acting, he moved behind a box, placing the LMG gunner with the broken nerves between him and the rebel, thus blocking his firing line.

The 3rd Gruppe moves into the yard, pistols drawn.

The LMG gunner, his eyes wide with fear, ran away from the Obergefreite, into the yard. The Gefreite there fired a shot at him, causing a scratch on him.

The rebel in the basement used the moment, in which the Obergefreite was temporarily distracted, and moved behind him, loosing a shot. He only scratched him, but the Obergefreite shruged the pain off.

While the Gefreite entered the basement and moved to the foot of the ladder leading up, the Obergefreite emptied his clip into the rebel who just wounded him, killing him on the spot.

The Gefreite in the basement moves silently up the ladder, coming up between the rebels which took up position behind the bar. As all of them turned their backs toward the hatch, nobody noticed him. The Gefreite fired his assault rifle on rock and roll, riddling the rebeld facing the front of the hotel with bullets. He caused a second bad wound on the leader, thus killed him, killed another rebel, the third threw away his weapon and dived over the bar, trying to get away from the lost battle.

The Stabsunteroffizier and the pistol armed LMG gunner heard the heavy shooting from inside and stormed the room together. The shotgun shell fired in the back of one of the two remmaining rebels killed him immedeately, the pistol bullet from the LMG gunner scratched the last rebel, and he threw away his weapon, fell to his knees with the hands up behind his head, pleading for mercy.
